How It Began

A few days before Christmas in 2010 four colleagues of a small country hospital in Victoria, Australia were talking over lunch. The discussion turned to the office Kris Kringle gift giving.

They decided that they would prefer to do some good rather than hunt for a bargain basement present and so the Compassionate Kris Kringle idea was born.

Within a few days others joined. They collected enough money to jointly send a donation and buy livestock and seeds for needy people overseas.

It was easy.

They did it, so can you!

A little means a lot....

The small cost of a Kris Kringle gift is something we don't miss at all. This really means little to us, but if every person donated that amount or more this can quickly multiply that many times. The collective amount can be enough to change the lives of other people not as fortunate as us.

We have found that Christmas feels a whole lot better, different and more meaningful when you share it with others.
